This Privacy Policy explains how EpicJoy Games handles information in Swarmloom Idle (the “Game”). It is intended for the Android version distributed through Google Play and for features that may be enabled in particular builds or regions. Please read it together with the privacy information and choices provided by Google for services used by the Game.
Developer and scope
Swarmloom Idle is published by EpicJoy Games. This policy applies to the Game itself. It does not replace the privacy policy of Google Play, Google AdMob, or any website or service that you visit after leaving the Game.
Game progress and local storage
Swarmloom Idle stores game progress locally on the player’s device so that progress can be restored on that device. The Game does not require a Swarmloom Idle account, and it does not use cloud saving unless that feature is separately introduced and this policy is updated.
Because progress is stored locally, deleting the Game, clearing its app storage, resetting the device, or moving to another device may remove that progress. EpicJoy Games cannot recover locally stored progress where no account or cloud save is available.
Advertising
Where advertising is enabled, Swarmloom Idle may use Google AdMob to show rewarded advertisements and interstitial advertisements. Rewarded advertisements are optional offers that may provide an in-game benefit when a player chooses to view them. Interstitial advertisements may be shown between suitable game moments.
When Google AdMob is enabled, Google and its advertising technology may automatically process information needed to deliver, measure, secure and improve advertising. This may include device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and other technical information used for advertising, fraud prevention, measurement and service operation. The information processed, the purposes, and available controls may vary by region, device settings and the advertising choices made by the player.
EpicJoy Games does not receive or store payment-card details or personal identity information merely because Google AdMob is used. Google’s handling of information is governed by its own policies. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
In-app purchases
Where in-app purchases are available, Swarmloom Idle may use Google Play Billing for optional purchases. Payments are processed by Google Play. EpicJoy Games does not directly receive or store your payment card or bank details. Google Play may process purchase-related technical information and transaction records in accordance with Google’s own policies and legal obligations.
Google Play and platform services
The Android version of Swarmloom Idle is distributed through Google Play and may use Google Play services needed for distribution, optional purchases and platform functionality. These services may process technical, diagnostic or security information under Google’s policies. This policy does not state that the Game uses Google Play Games accounts, achievements, leaderboards or cloud save; those features are not covered unless they are separately introduced and this policy is updated.
Analytics and crash reporting
Swarmloom Idle does not claim to use a dedicated Firebase Analytics, Unity Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics or other dedicated analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Where Google AdMob or Google Play services are enabled, those providers may process technical and diagnostic information for their own service operation, security, fraud prevention and measurement as described in their policies.
External links
The Game may contain links to official EpicJoy Games pages, support pages, websites or other relevant external destinations. Once you leave the Game, the privacy practices of the destination service apply. EpicJoy Games is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external services.
Sharing and sale of data
EpicJoy Games does not sell personal data. Where services such as Google AdMob, Google Play Billing or Google Play platform services are enabled, relevant technical or advertising-related information may be processed by Google or its service providers as necessary to provide those services. We do not share information with other third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Your choices and consent
Where required by applicable law, advertising consent and privacy choices may be presented to players, including choices relating to personalised or non-personalised advertising where applicable. The options available depend on the build, region, device and Google’s requirements. You may also be able to manage advertising preferences through your device and Google account settings. Choosing not to consent, or selecting non-personalised advertising where available, may affect the advertisements shown but should not prevent normal game play.
Data retention and deletion
Local game progress remains on your device until you delete the Game, clear its app storage or otherwise remove it. Information processed by Google services is retained according to Google’s own policies and applicable law. As EpicJoy Games does not require a Game account or operate cloud saves for Swarmloom Idle, there is normally no account-based game profile for us to delete.
Children’s privacy
Swarmloom Idle is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children. Where advertising is enabled, EpicJoy Games intends to apply the relevant Google Play, AdMob, consent and age-related requirements. Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information directly to EpicJoy Games may contact us using the details below. We will review the request and take appropriate action where we control the relevant information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when the Game changes, when a new service is introduced, or when legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will apply from the date the updated policy is published, unless another notice is required by law.
