Product: Manfrotto PIXI Mini                                                                                                                       My rating:   4 out of 5

Product overview

The table top tripod is a needed tool when you want to go shooting photos with light equipment. This is only working with small cameras, with a maximum load 2.2 lb / 1 kg.

This table top tripod may be also used as a hand held grip support for a small camera or compact camcorder. The legs are rounded on their outer side, so keeping it closed provides a comfortable hand grip.

When open it has a maximum height of 5.31″. Rubber feet avoid slipping and protect sensible surfaces.

Ground level operation

In my opinion this is the biggest advantage of a table top tripod. On the ground for shooting cityscapes or landscapes, also long-exposure photography goes fine being a strong and steady tool.

Quality – price ratio

For about $20 on eBay it gives a lot: resistant in time, steady and strong, light and easy to carry all over.

Final Conclusion

It is a good to have if you feel it meets your needs. As a major minus, I have to mention the vertical tilt limitation -35° to +35°

  1. Love the design on this tripod- and glad to see it had rubber feet. I had to do a double-take when I looked at the weight of this. At under a half pound it’s feather-light! Does this company make larger versions of this tripod?
Great review and thanks for the awesome details

  2. Do cameras like the Go Pros work with this? Or is it s universal type of adapter? I ask because I am looking at re-doing my web cam set up so my YouTube videos are of better quality.

  3. Hi Tim, some general information is here if you just want to attach your camera to the tripod.
If you want more versatile gear for GoPro, which I would recommend, then go here. It will allow more angles and rotation. I hope this is useful
